Retail Assistant Role

We are looking for a retail assistant to join our busy Palmerston North Store! This role includes a permanent Sunday shift from 11am-3pm as well as additional hours offered an a casual/on-call basis as available to cover peak periods and leave.
This is a minimum wage role

About You:

We’re looking for someone who with a friendly, bubbly personality who is confident communicating with customers and has retail experience. Ideally, you will have cash-handling experience and be comfortable using a computer, full training will be provided.

Job Description:

As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for serving and engaging with customers to provide a fun shopping experience. Outside of this, you may be responsible for some day-to-day jobs as assigned by the Store Manager/2IC, these may include, but are not limited to: Merchandising, receipting, stocktaking, cleaning, re-stocking, cash handling, opening & closing. Full Training WIll be provided
