Are you an experienced retail manager with a passion for community and a drive to achieve?
We’re on the lookout for a dynamic, people-focused leader to lead the way at our vibrant Mangawhai store. If you love variety, enjoy autonomy, and want to make a genuine difference, this exciting role could be your next great opportunity!
This role is permanent part time position, working 37.5 hours each week from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities include
- Overseeing and managing shop operations and stock levels
- Driving revenue growth by setting and achieving ambitious sales targets
- Actively promoting and marketing the store within the local community
- Creating eye-catching displays and set pricing for merchandise
- Organising staff roster, lead and motivate staff and volunteers
- Generating monthly reports and forecasting
- Fostering a warm, inclusive environment where great customer service thrives
Qualifications
Ko wai koe - About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Solid experience in retail management, visual merchandising and an interest in second-hand goods
- A strong track record of leading high-performing teams
- A highly motivated, proactive “can-do” attitude that drives you to identify and act on opportunities for improvement
- A passion for achieving results and meeting sales targets
- Confidence in recruiting, leading, and energising volunteers
- Great relationship building skills and strong community focus
