Mō te whai waahi | About the opportunity
We're looking for someone to join the team at our Kaitaia store working 7 hours per week.
This role requires availability to work every Saturday, with occasional on-call shifts on other days of the week.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing retail sales and customer service to our shareholders.
- Advising customers on a range of sheep and beef, dry stock and general agricultural products.
- Operating a point of sale (POS) system.
- Completing administrative tasks such as ordering and receipting of stock.
- Restocking and displaying our products.
Mōhou ake | About you
- A background in the farming sector.
- You can engage and talk to anyone.
- You have retail sales or customer service skills and experience.
- You have sound computer skills.
- You're physically fit as there will be lifting and manual handling tasks.
Bonus Points for:
- A forklift licence.
- A first aid licence.
