We’re looking for a proactive and technically skilled Senior Application Specialist to join our Digital & Technology team and take ownership of the fraud platform. This is a fixed-term opportunity to cover a secondment, and it’s a chance to lead critical application support and deployment initiatives that directly impact our customer experience and operational excellence.

Key role responsibilities:

  • Lead new technology deployments and upgrades, coordinating across IT teams and external suppliers.
  • Own the technical aspects of our fraud platforms end-to-end, ensuring stability, scalability, and security.
  • Manage operational testing and technical change through formal processes.
  • Act as a key liaison with other IT areas, ensuring seamless integration and support.
  • Mentor other Application Specialists and contribute to Kohanga initiatives.
  • Define and execute key person risk mitigation strategies.

Key skills and experience we’re looking for:
  • Strong experience in application and system integration, ideally within financial services.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot mission-critical systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive mindset and analytical approach to application support.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience leading deployments and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Previous management of fraud platforms would be a distinct advantage.
