What You Will Do
The role of the Senior Graphic Designer is to produce, in conjunction with other team members, effective print and on-line materials for the global Trimble company. The position requires a talented and confident senior designer with the ability to communicate their creative ideas effectively and apply them to solve business problems. You will be part of our collaborative team, working with our Art Directors, other Designers, and Marketing Key Account Leads to:
Conceptualise, create and design high-quality materials for a wide range of print and digital collateral
Communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate the target audience
Identify the best ways to illustrate and communicate clients’ vision while complying with design best practices
Understand different print or digital processes and how this affects design and production
Mentor and guide junior/new designers while assisting team members in creative thinking and brainstorming sessions
Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, creative suite advances, and technologies to remain competitive
Develop and communicate best practice design procedures with the larger team
Follow appropriate team and branding standards to prepare materials for production and on-line use
What Qualifications and Experience You Should Bring
Your creativity and eye for design will be prided among your top strengths. To be successful in this role you will have good file management practices, be flexible in response to feedback, and dedicated to meeting your customer's needs:
Advanced user of Adobe Creative Suite
Advanced understanding of the printing process and printing options • Artistic and a good eye for design, color, and composition
Advanced skills in design for print and/or digital media
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with and attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a collaborative team •

A minimum of 10 years of professional design training and experience
Qualification in graphic and/or digital design, marketing
A portfolio that demonstrates a variety of design work
Flexible approach to working in a changing environment
Familiarity with GPS, GIS, or surveying systems is advantageous (though not specifically required)
Only applicants who are legally entitled to work permanently in New Zealand will be considered for this role.

Although this role does require individuals to work primarily onsite, we have flexibility in our team with regards to working hours and working from home. We are happy to discuss this further throughout the course of the interview.
