About the role
As a Senior Analyst, Digital Support within the Digital team at the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), you will play a crucial role in keeping our digital environment running smoothly. You will be a main contact for various technology support requests and will provide expert support from the first to third line and mentor junior team members within the team. This hands-on role requires you to actively maintain digital systems and equipment, manage various digital projects, and contribute to cybersecurity efforts to keep our environment secure. You will also help with infrastructure and application issues, support information and records management, and efficiently resolve incidents. Additionally, you will manage digital assets, implement change control processes, maintain technical documentation, and closely work with suppliers and vendors. Your technical skills, collaborative approach, and strong focus on service delivery will be crucial for our digital operations' success.
The starting salary for the Senior Analyst within Digital Support is between $98,689 and maximum of $120,941 pa. Starting salaries are to be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, as well as internal relativities.
What You’ll Bring
You’ll bring a strong technical background and hands-on experience across a broad range of digital and technology support activities. With a proactive approach to ensuring systems and equipment run smoothly, you’ll respond to complex support requests, manage small-scale digital projects, and guide junior team members. Your expertise in incident management, cybersecurity, and systems troubleshooting will ensure a secure and efficient digital environment. You’ll also contribute to asset management, change control, and documentation, while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality support across the organisation.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to show:
- A Recognised ICT qualifications or certifications (required)
- A strong background in providing high-level technical support in digital and ICT environments
- In-depth knowledge of Cloud platforms, Office365, and related technologies
- Additional certifications such as ITIL or Microsoft (an advantage)
- A customer-first mindset with a solid grasp of service delivery best practices
- Confidence in relationship management skills with a collaborative approach
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- The ability to think critically and convey information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- A Full clean New Zealand Drivers Licence will be essential as travel will be required from time to time
