Due to recent business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced banking professional to join us as a Senior Manager, Client Payment Solutions, within our Specialised Solutions team.
In this role you will be primarily responsible for driving new payment revenue origination and business development (“rainmaker”) in the corporate & institutional banking sector.

What are some of the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?
Drive revenue growth by:
Leading, developing and growing a portfolio of multifaceted payment relationships, within our corporate & institutional – selling across the broader payment proposition.
Identifying Institutional and Corporate target clients with Client Directors and assess and understand their prospective merchant payment needs and service requirements.
Achieve Business development, merchant and payment volume goals
Expand/strengthen relationships with clients at multiple levels with the objective of being the Main Bank and a ‘sounding board’ for payment strategies.
Develop and implement a strategic and tactical plan for each target client, based on knowledge of the client’s industry, stakeholders, key decision-makers, growth projections and strategies, and to offer them tailored solutions and services.

What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?
The role will manage a portfolio of multifaceted payment clients, and provide consultancy support on merchant and payment solutions across deals over certain revenue / complexity thresh-holds, working with the Transactional Banking team to pitch and close such deals!

We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, able to effectively build relationships, and influence across the organisation, as well as effectively manage competing stakeholder interests to ensure the best outcome for all. You will also have:
10+ years’ experience in the finance/business community.
Strong consulting skills with a proven track record of delivering against business development targets within a complex consultative sales cycle
