We have a position available in New Plymouth, if you are looking to step up in your sales career, this may be the role for you.
We are looking for a Senior Merchandiser based in New Plymouth with people leadership duties and relieving opportunities throughout the week.
The working days per week will be Sunday to Thursday between 05:00am and 04:00pm, however you may be required to work some weekends and public holidays.
The position will be a minimum of 30 hours per week- including allocated hours to complete your Senior Merchandising duties per week.
We will also require you to cover Merchandising Duties as part of this role, as per the roster.
About the role:
- Build strong relationships in store and try your hand at upselling
- Lead and develop a diverse team of merchandisers from within the region
- Replenish shelves
- Rotate stock
- Create eye catching product displays
You'll need to have the following:
- People leadership and problem solving – no two days are the same when you’re leading a team!
- FMCG experience desirable
- Class 1 full or restricted New Zealand driver's license
- Reliable vehicle with valid registration and WOF
- Ability to lift bread crates over your shoulders repetitively
- Keen to learn - we will provide full training to help you succeed
