About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the People and Culture (P&C) team at Warren and Mahoney, one of Australasia's leading design practices, as an experienced P&C Business Partner in Auckland. You will be joining a collaborative and supportive team who are focused on delivering an exceptional service to our organisation.
The position, based in our Auckland studio, will have responsibility for supporting our leaders in all people-related aspects of our business.
Full-time preferred, but a four-day working week is an option for the preferred candidate.

We support the development of all our team through Career Conversations twice a year, mentoring, on-the-job training and formal training in both technical and soft skills.
Our active social culture includes sports teams, Friday drinks and plenty of other opportunities to get to know your colleagues. In this role, you will be responsible for
- Supporting the Group People and Culture Officer to deliver the people strategy in our Auckland and Tauranga studios
- Providing commercially astute advice to our leaders on people-related matters
- Supporting the delivery of an exceptional employee experience
- Managing key People and Culture processes and programmes, including career conversations, talent management, health and safety, employee engagement surveys and remuneration reviews
- A proven track record as a high performing HR practitioner, with 8+ years' experience
- A tertiary qualification in a business and/or HR related field
- Demonstrated ability to identify and apply well considered, strategic approaches to issues
- Excellent knowledge of NZ employment related legislation
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships and work constructively and collaboratively with a variety of people
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in professional services or a corporate environment
