Job Description
Here's an opportunity to work for a leader in refrigerated warehousing and storage logistics - Ultimately it's a COOL Work Environment!
Our Waharoa storage facility is currently looking for an experienced store person/forklift operator with the right attitude and experience to join their team. In this position, you will be working in a chilled and frozen environment. Counterbalance experience is essential, as well as attention to detail and the ability to work to strict time deadlines.
We are searching for an individual who can:
- Work in a chilled/frozen environment
- Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift
- Manually handle/lift up to 20 kgs
- Learn new skills and grow professionally
- Fully commit to following all Health & Safety Policies and Rules
- Keep the warehouse and equipment clean and well-maintained
- Fixed-term role - 12 months
- Work Monday to Friday from 6 am to 2:30 pm
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you need to be a team player ready to join a hardworking team. Previous warehousing experience, preferably in the food distribution field, and experience operating a counterbalance forklift are required.
