We have a great opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Pareora team as a Stores Administrator. The Stores Administrator is responsible for providing general store duties and services for our site with customer service at the forefront, DIFOTIS, ensuring legislative and company policy and procedures are adhered to, and the departments health and safety, and personnel objectives are achieved with maximum safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities include:
- Stores Administration
- Chemical handling
- Unloading and processing of goods
- Arranging delivery
- Assisting in stocktake
- Purchase to pay
Ōu Pūkenga /About You:
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to really flex their portfolio of skills and offer the chance to develop them further. Full training is provided, but ideally you will bring the following skills and attributes from previous roles:
- A sound knowledge of supplies and equipment in a manufacturing environment, or prior experience in a similar role
- Experience in chemical handling or certificates would be an advantage
- Forklift licence
- Knowledge of Dry store and consumables operations at an export meat processing facility is preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills to enable you to build relationships with suppliers, on site customers and within a team environment
- Keen attention to detail
