Attention all engineering students interested in the energy sector! Mercury is currently seeking talented and motivated interns to join our team for the summer from November 2025 to February 2026.
As an engineering intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of engineering projects that will contribute to the development of sustainable energy solutions. This is an opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge into practice.
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to be based in our Rotorua or Taupo office, working with our experienced engineers and other graduates.

About you:
- An interest in renewable power generation
- Currently studying 2nd to 4th year Mechanical Engineering (please provide official transcripts)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The passion, curiosity and enthusiasm to get stuck in and make a real difference
- A full and clean New Zealand drivers' licence
