The Role:
We are seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic Teacher Aide to join our dedicated team on a permanent, part-time basis (10 hours per week). Your role will involve assisting the teaching team in maintaining a beautiful learning environment, supporting routine activities with the tamariki, and ensuring resources are organised. We value energy, initiative, flexibility, and strong ICT skills to support documentation preparation.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in working with young tamarik, preferably in a Kindergarten or Early Childhood Education setting.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to listen, explain, and build positive relationships.
- Flexibility, adaptability, tolerance, and perseverance are essential qualities.
- Commitment to delivering a high-quality AKA Kindergarten service aligned with our philosophy of learning through play.
- Team player with attention to detail, confidentiality, and an understanding of AKA's mission and values.
