About the Role
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our service, providing the vital administrative support that helps our clinical and operational teams deliver outstanding care to service users. Every day will bring variety — from managing multiple tasks and setting clear priorities, to keeping our environment welcoming and professional. You’ll play a key part in updating health information systems, supporting both clinical and non-clinical processes, and ensuring service users feel respected and supported in every interaction. This is a chance to take ownership of your workload, stay organised under pressure, and make a real difference by keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
About the Team/Service/ Location
At Cornwall House, you’ll be part of a dynamic team making a real difference in people’s lives. Our Care and Recovery team works closely with whaiora, their whānau, local communities, and a skilled Multi-Disciplinary Team to deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessments and a wide range of therapeutic treatment options. Alongside this, our Planned Acute Care team provides timely assessment and intervention for whaiora needing acute support in the community — offering the chance to work in a fast-paced, meaningful role where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to support recovery.

About you
As a Team Administrator for Cornwall House, you will meet the minimum requirements outlined below:
- Customer Focused - understand the importance of bringing a professional level of quality and service in everything that you do
- Proficient in Microsoft applications especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Enthusiastic – bring an authentically positive attitude to your work
- Resilient – enjoy a challenge and be able to adapt to fast-changing situations
- Diligent – value accuracy and attention to detail, understanding the importance of high standards in this regard
- Self-motivated - take ownership and act decisively to solve problems, make your time count
- Previous experience in a professional services or Healthcare environment is an advantage
