Job Description
Mō te tūranga | About the Role
We are looking for a versatile and motivated gardener with a desire to create and maintain the stunning gardens at our community. Your dedication to great customer service will shine through for our residents, who are at the heart of all we do. We garden using natural techniques and are looking for somebody with a true passion for gardening.
We pay market rates and provide a uniform, including quality wet weather gear, tools, and PPE. We provide training and we promote an educational path for our gardeners’ encouraging apprenticeships with Primary ITO.
This is a physically demanding job, and a high level of fitness is required.
Qualifications

We will be interviewing and screening NZ Residents and NZ Citizens as a priority before looking internationally.
NZQF Level 4 qualification or at least three years' working experience (ANZCO Skill level 3)
- Demonstrated competence in a similar role
- Demonstrated knowledge of plants, growth patterns,
- Highly motivated, flexible, and able to take initiative
- Safe work practices
- NZ Drivers License

- The ability to work well with colleagues as part of a team, and be highly responsible and reliable

Utu Taipitopito | Pay Details
$29.66 to $31.65 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
