Job Description
The Team Leader - Bin Audit and Delivery has key responsibility for providing daily direction, co-ordination and support to the municipal bin auditing and delivery teams. This role ensures that services are delivered efficiently and aligned with company standards and contractual obligations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and support the operational functions under the guidance of supervisor.
- Ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Support bin management operations and maintain stock in yard to required standards
- Allocate resources effectively to meet service obligations including covering any absenteeism
- Conduct regular toolbox talks and safety meetings to enhance communication and safety awareness.
- Undertake regular reviews of tasks to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance efficiency.
- Monitor team performance to ensure productivity, safety and work quality standards are met.
- Ensure administrative systems and compliance requirements are managed accurately and promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience with responsibility for day-to-day operational management.
- Experience in the waste or transport industry (desirable but not essential).
- Strong commitment to safety leadership and safe work practices.
- Knowledge of safety management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with strong literacy and numeracy.
- A current full driver’s licence (minimum Class 1).
- A valid forklift licence.
