Job Description


The Team Leader - Bin Audit and Delivery has key responsibility for providing daily direction, co-ordination and support to the municipal bin auditing and delivery teams. This role ensures that services are delivered efficiently and aligned with company standards and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and support the operational functions under the guidance of supervisor.
  • Ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Support bin management operations and maintain stock in yard to required standards
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet service obligations including covering any absenteeism
  • Conduct regular toolbox talks and safety meetings to enhance communication and safety awareness.
  • Undertake regular reviews of tasks to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor team performance to ensure productivity, safety and work quality standards are met.
  • Ensure administrative systems and compliance requirements are managed accurately and promptly.

Qualifications
  • Proven leadership experience with responsibility for day-to-day operational management.
  • Experience in the waste or transport industry (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong commitment to safety leadership and safe work practices.
  • Knowledge of safety management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong literacy and numeracy.
  • A current full driver’s licence (minimum Class 1).
  • A valid forklift licence.
