About the role

We’re seeking a people-first leader to guide our Digital Engineering and Systems Administration team. You’ll be responsible for delivering secure, reliable digital infrastructure that supports business continuity and aligns with strategic priorities.

The starting salary for the Team Leader, Digital Engineering within Corporate Services group is between $136,939 and maximum of $168,191. Starting salaries are to be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, as well as internal relativities.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll:

  • Shape the delivery of infrastructure, cloud, and network services
  • Grow team capability and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Lead incident response and ensure service quality, security, and compliance
  • Align technical delivery with organisational goals

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience leading high-performing technical teams
  • Strong mentoring skills and a focus on team growth and engagement
  • Ability to translate strategy into actionable technical plans
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure, cloud, and enterprise IT environments
  • Expertise in network operations, cybersecurity, and data protection
  • Full, clean NZ driver’s licence (some travel required)
