We are looking for roles in Winton and Wyndham.
We are looking for a proactive and motivated candidate to take on the challenge in what is a busy area with a large market share. As the Technical Sales Representative you will maintain and grow the customer base for Fonterra Farm Source through the provision of on farm sales, technical advice, and superior customer experience. The TSR is a key regional Farm Source leader and partners with their respective regional Farm Source Store/s and other Centres of Excellence (Service Centre, Category and Credit).

You will be an expert in technical advice (Farm Source products) and understanding the needs of our Farmers and application to their farm through delivering great customer experiences across all of our channels (in store, on farm, online and on phone).

Role Accountabilities

  • Maximise all sales opportunities and grow the business through market share improvements.
  • Proactively lead campaigns to ensure we promote products in line with seasonal farm requirements.
  • Build relationships as a trusted advisor through delivering superior customer service & providing the most up to date knowledge.
  • Deliver initiatives and projects within the respective region.
  • Proactively build and maintain relationships through regular planned contact with existing and potential customers.

To be successful in this role you will possess a strong knowledge of dairy farming systems – animal nutrition, pasture and cropping, fertiliser, agchem, animal health you will also have the ability to learn, retain and translate technical knowledge. Coupled with your technical expertise, you will have the ability to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders and enjoy working as part of a team.
