Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and inspire a collaborative theatre culture
- Champion safe, seamless, and high-quality surgical care
- Partner with top surgeons and multidisciplinary specialists
- Shape theatre operations, drive innovation, and mentor surgical staff
- Lead continuous improvement with a focus on performance, outcomes, and teamwork
- 5+ years post-registration theatre nursing experience with strong orthopaedic expertise
- Proven leadership ability — able to motivate, support, and grow clinical teams
- Current NZ Registered Nurse APC with surgical scope
- Postgraduate qualification (completed or in progress) and PDRP Level 4 (Expert) or senior nursing PDRP (or working towards it)
- Strong clinical assessment and digital literacy skills
- A calm, professional presence with a can-do, people-first attitude
