About the role
You'll will be responsible for the maintenance and operations of 17 wastewater and 9 water treatment plants. You'll record and analyse data and information from the treatment plants to ensure that the treatment processes are correct and that our operations are compliant with legislation. You'll lead a team of 13 legends who will cover quite a broad geographical area, so your role will include a mixture of both office and site-based activities and require some local travel. You will form close working relationships with internal stakeholders including the customer service manager, the reticulation manager, the risk and asset manager and the SHEQ advisor. You will also build credibility and rapport with client representatives including the compliance manager, the asset team and the projects team. You will also use your expertise to provide ideas and advice in relation to new technology and improvements to the treatment plants.
About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll be an experienced Process Manager or Engineer who has previously overseen the operations and maintenance of Water or Wastewater treatment plants. You will be an expert in water treatment processes and have in-depth knowledge of compliance requirements and legislation. You will be capable of building strong relationships with client representatives. It is preferable but not essential that you have experience in recording and analysing data. You will be a champion of safe working environments and very well versed in relevant HSE information. You’ll welcome challenge and endeavour to identify ways to improve the performance of your team and develop them as individuals.

Required Experience, Skills and Knowledge
  • In-depth understanding of water & wastewater treatment processes.
  • An extremely well structured and organised style of working
  • The ability to drive and achieve strong systems and process compliance.
  • An outstanding safety record and excellent knowledge of Water Industry HSE rules and regulations
