We’re committed to building and maintaining vital infrastructure across New Zealand. Our Traffic Management team plays a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. We’re now seeking an experienced Traffic Management Planner to join our team in Whangārei. You’ll lead the design and assessment of Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), making sure our projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. You’ll collaborate with everyone from clients and authorities to our own teams and subcontractors, using your technical know-how and leadership skills to develop and oversee TMPs—from start to finish.
In addition to the above you will:
Work with the TTM Technical Services team, creating quality TTM designs in line with NZGTTM guidelines
Facilitate meetings, draft risk assessments, and develop traffic management plans
Identify and manage design risks, capture learnings from the field, and keep safety a top priority
Attend pre-start meetings, follow all safety protocols, and share ideas to make our work better
Use Rapid TCP/Autocad to produce plans—plus provide technical support for tenders and projects
Manage the TMP process from first request through to final approval

We’re looking for someone with:
Current Class 1 Driver’s Licence
Experience in Traffic Management Design
Solid background in civil/construction industry work
Proven skill in preparing quality control documentation
Strong leadership, great communicator, and a real team player
Self-driven, practical, and always safety-first
Creating, Connecting and caring for the community
