Join us at Sofitel Wellington to create moments of calm and comfort in the evening for our in-house guests.
As an Evening Turndown Attendant, you play an essential role in elevating the guest experience by delivering impeccable service and ensuring our guest rooms reflect the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort each evening.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide elegant nightly turndown service across all guestrooms, enhancing the ambience for a restful stay.Refresh occupied rooms with care, including:
Neatly arranging guest belongings
Replacing soiled linen with fresh stock
Light dusting and vacuuming as required
Bathroom touch-ups and restocking amenities
Add thoughtful, personalised touches to delight our guests
Ensure the discreet and respectful handling of guest privacy and belongings
Accurately update room status throughout your shift
Maintain the proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment
Keep linen closets, supply areas, and service landings impeccably organised
Promptly report any room damages or maintenance concerns
Respond to guest requests with professionalism, efficiency, and warmth
Work collaboratively and positively within a high-performing team
Adhere to the highest grooming and uniform standards
Follow all departmental policies and standard operating procedures with precision
Physically capable of lifting, carrying, or moving items as required
This role is Part-Time (Minimum 8 hours per week)
Must hold Full NZ working rights
Qualifications
- Flexibility to work from 4pm, including weekends and public holidays (Rotating roster)
- Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an asset
- Good level of physical fitness
- Excellent organisational skills and time management
- Attention to detail is essential
- Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs by being professional and welcoming
