Your new role
As an Underwriter in the Connected Team, you’ll play a key role in managing complex cases, supporting brokers, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Broker Partners through our digital platforms, providing guidance and solutions to meet their needs.
- Automation means you get to underwrite complex risk and referral cases, whilst ensuring compliance with company policies and risk appetite.
- Identify new business opportunities and self-insurance prospects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement process improvements and contribute to system enhancements.
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, delivering excellent service and fostering trust.

About you
We’re looking for someone passionate about underwriting and excited to embrace innovative ways of working. You may also have a background in insurance or experience in business development. You’ll bring:
- Ideally experience as an Underwriter, with a good understanding of underwriting principles and risk assessment.
- Stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with digital platforms and processes in underwriting or insurance.
- A forward-thinking mindset, with a keen interest in the evolution of technology in underwriting.
- Strong problem-solving skills, confidently navigating complex cases.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and partners.
