About the Role

Waitematā Central Staffing Team are looking for a Staffing Coordinator, who is familiar with a large health/hospital setting, to join our busy team.
We manage a flexible staffing team for Waitematā District, recording availability, allocating work hours and accurately reflecting employment hours for payroll.
The key responsibility of this role is the placement of Nursing, HCA and Clerical staff into wards and departments as required. Waitematā Central Staffing team is also responsible for ordering non-urgent St John Ambulances.
Our office operates 7 days per week, 0630 to 2300, and this role covers rostered AM and PM 8 hour shifts.

About You

To be successful in this role, applicants require previous experience working in a busy office environment within a healthcare setting and you must have excellent organisational, communication and administration skills, with an eye for the detail.
This is a fast paced environment, and requires the ability to juggle multiple items at once. We're looking for someone vibrant, energetic, and able to use your initiative with a “can do” attitude.
