Due to further growth in the company, we are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join it's well established and growing team!
Located out of our site in East Tamaki, the Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for organizing and monitoring the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse. This role acts as a central point of communication between the warehouse team, logistics providers, and customer service to ensure accurate and timely movement of goods.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining accuracy of receipts & picks, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Warehouse Coordinator is also a working member of the team, completing day-to-day functions alongside their team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing and order dispatch.
- Lead by example, actively participate in all tasks to provide direct guidance
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Liaise with internal teams such as customer service and procurement to align inventory and delivery priorities.
- Schedule and coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries with transport providers and logistics
- Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time and alert customer services and/or customers immediately of any inventory discrepancies.
- Support warehouse staff by providing clear work instructions and assisting with issue resolution.
- Identify and report process inefficiencies, damaged goods, discrepancies, and hazards for corrective action.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Familiarity with inventory systems and warehouse software (WMS/ERP).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Forklift license or other relevant certifications (desirable).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
