Description
About the role:
Be part of a busy and supportive team working in our Yard and Drive-Thru area where you will deliver exceptional service in this active and physical role.
- Assist & recommend suitable products, tailored to customer preferences
- Pick, assemble and process transactions and orders
- Load and unload customer vehicles and delivery vans/ trucks
- Monitor inventory levels, cycle counts and stock replenishment
- Maintain cleanliness and uphold safety standards through general housekeeping.
- Operate a Forklift
This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays at our Takanini Branch.
About You:
- Full NZ Class 1 drivers’ licence is a must
- Forklift experience, ideally F endorsed
- Physically fit and capable with solid health and safety values
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Great attention to detail, organised and approach tasks with a positive mindset.
- Computer and numeracy knowledge
- Trade industry knowledge or warehouse experience is beneficial.
