Job Position - Abacus Instructors/Tutors - Multiple Positions
Ideal Candidate -
Have experience as an Abacus Instructor for a minimum of 6 months or should have an experience tutoring children.
Excellent communication skills (English)
Hours of Work - 15-20 hours a week including Saturday and Sunday. You would be working 4-6 days a week.
Work Location - You will be working at our centre in Henderson. You also may need to travel occasionally to our other centres from time to time.
Position purpose:
To be responsible for preparing lesson plans, instructing students at all levels and provide reports to the organisation and parents.
Main tasks Core objectives include:
- Provide instruction to SIP Abacus students across various levels
- Monitor the performance of children being trained and provide regular updates to the parents through email and face to face meetings
- Speak to parents regularly and resolve any queries they may have
- Conduct Trial Classes for prospective students who are looking to join SIP Abacus
- Review and respond to any queries of the parents
- Contact parents in case of any issues
- Raise any issues with management
Secondary Tasks
- Ensure that the centre has enough stationary for successful conduct of the classes.
- Be proactive and maintain the health and safety at the workplace.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the workplace before and after the classes.
Pay Rates:
The pay rate is from $26 per hour.

- Auckland City, Auckland: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
