About the Role
We have the opportunity available to join our Northern regional team as an Administration Coordinator in a permanent, full-time role.
The primary purpose of the role is to provide day-to-day administration support and coordination functions, to enable the team to deliver on a high-quality standard work programme. The Northern region protection team has several administration coordinator roles, with each providing support and knowledge across the team and participate in rosters to ensure work coverage during response and emergency events.
Reporting to the Health Protection Operation Team Lead, this position will contribute to the mahi protecting communities from notifiable and infectious diseases.

About you
As an experienced administrator, you enjoy solving complex problems, are motivated by top-notch performance, and are someone that excels in a behind-the-scenes supporting role. To be successful you must be able to work at a fast-pace, juggle changing priorities, work across teams and be someone that naturally enjoys an environment and role that is constantly changing. You will have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification or comparable experience
- Previous experience in an administrative coordination role, preferably with 3+ years of demonstratable experience supporting a manager and team
- Able to plan, prioritise, and deliver work on time, and to required standards across the breadth of the role
- Excellent organisation skills with a good eye for detail
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office suite - MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Great at organising meetings, taking minutes and meeting notes
- Ability to support HR requirements and liaison
- Ability to help manage work planning and documentation
- Ability to manage relationships at all levels of the organisation
