About the role
We're looking for an Administrator Receptionist Superstar to work at our Pohutukawa Landing Village, based in Beachlands, East Auckland. Reporting to the Business Care Manager, you will provide quality and timely reception and administration support which enables effective service delivery for our Care Home Residents and Staff. This is a 40-hour our per week position, which provides the opportunity for growth as we grow!
We are seeking someone to bring their administration experience, people skills and their enthusiasm to the Care Home and to be the first point of contact at our staff, residents, contractors and visitors.
This role has a normal working pattern of 8.30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday with the expectation to be available to cover leave on weekends when required.
This role will suit someone who is flexible with a "not a problem" attitude is essential to ensuring the atmosphere at our Village reflects the service standards we excel at.
Some of the great things you will be doing
- Manage our fast-paced reception area and being the smiling first point of contact for our residents, visitors and contractors.
- Support with staff rostering and timesheet corrections for payroll processing
- Assist with documentation relating to audits and compliance.
- Support with finance administration - Purchase orders/invoicing
- Ensure resident databases, spreadsheets and registers are updated regularly
About you
- Previous experience in a similar administration/reception role to ensure you can hit the ground running
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Able to exercise great judgement with often conflicting demands, able to prioritise and use your initiative - all with a 'can-do' attitude
- Comfortable with change and new initiatives - your flexible, friendly, professional and customer focused approach will reflect your ability to easily deal with whatever comes your way
- Computer savvy - medium to advanced Microsoft suite experience and able to pick up new systems, processes and ways of doing things quickly
