Amazing Teacher Aide

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our inner-city kura. You will be working in collaborative teams to support tamariki to learn and play and become their best selves. We are a fun and diverse bunch of talented kaiako and kaiāwhina, wonderful whānau and amazing tamariki who value Te Reo Māori me ōna tikanga.

Experience working with children, especially those with special needs, would be great. Extra languages including fluency in Te Reo Māori and/or other special skills (e.g. sports coaching) are highly desired. If that's not you, kei te pai, keep reading!

This role will be working alongside some of our needy younger learners - supporting them to learn what school is all about. Ultimately, we’re looking for someone who's unafraid, reliable in attendance, fun, not afraid to problem-solve and try different strategies, with a heart for supporting neurodiverse learners.

Hours are between 9am and 3pm weekdays with some flexibility around you and your schedule.
