The role is an integral part to the everyday running of the East Waikato Area, and the continuous support to Waikato District workgroups. An Area Executive Officers’ role ca n vary day to day, as you will oversee a multitude of administrative functions and portfolios. These include:
Health & safety
Building and vehicle asset management
Contractor management
Entry level financial handling
Secretariat support to the area leaders
Not one day is ever the same, and your ability to take on unplanned tasks, projects, portfolios, attend to emergencies, and work under pressure will be your greatest asset.
The role relies on building effective partnerships within and external to Police, including across the public sector and with our Iwi partners. This will include Property Group & Contractors, Police National Fleet Group, equipment & supply vendors, managers of multiple workgroups and many more.
You'll be an experienced administration professional, who is an exceptional performer and passionate about delivering a high level of service. Work roster is Monday to Friday however flexibility is needed as you may be called on for advice af ter hours at times.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $74,748 and $78,129 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
