The role & responsibilities:
We are looking for an Area Manager who will build and drive a high-performance culture, inspire, and motivate the store leaders and teams and work closely with their Regional Manager, the Head of Retail and Support office functions to deliver business growth within the Hype DC Auckland portfolio of stores.

- Ensures efficient operation of stores to achieve optimal results against sales targets, KPI’s, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control and shrinkage
- Monitors store sales daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly against targets - acknowledging outstanding results and identifying any areas of missed opportunity
- Will work closely with Regional Manager and key business functions to drive the growth of the New Zealand business
- Has a strong understanding of operational excellence requirements and ability to drive compliance with Store teams

- Demonstrated experience as a Multi-site, Cluster or Area Manager

- The ability to think strategically to identify missed opportunities and have a proven track record in driving sales and KPI’s
- A sound operational & strategical skill set and experience with stock control and visual merchandising
