Ko te tūranga mahi | About the role
Are you passionate about financial analysis and risk management? We are looking for an Assurance Analyst to join our Corporate Trustee Services team in Auckland. In this role, you will work closely with client service managers and other team members to provide specialist services in risk and compliance analysis and financial analysis.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and analyse client reporting obligations, including financial statements and disclosure documents
- Monitor compliance with trust deeds and statutory requirements
- Perform assurance testing and participate in client service meetings, as well as monitoring visits when required
- Provide financial and reporting insights to client relationship managers
- Collaborate with other CTS teams to meet collective client supervision goals
- Prepare professional communications and reports for internal and external stakeholders
Ko wai koe | About you
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a strong background in financial services. You have excellent analytical skills, a good understanding of financial markets and investments, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the financial services industry, preferably in Managed Funds, Audit/Risk, or Corporate Trustee roles
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Legal, or a relevant field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly skilled in numerical and analytical analysis with an eye for identifying trends and irregularities
- Adopts a risk-based mindset
- You are curious and like to question the "why"
