About the role
Provide Test Automation expertise for the development and maintenance of automation scripts utilising existing Automation Frameworks (including Web, Mobile and API), Contribute to Genesis' Automation-First strategy, Develop and enhance automation scripts, Provide support to other Test Analysts and Automation Engineers.
Some of the key responsibilities are:
- platforms using existing frameworks, expanding test coverage for new features.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and enhance test coverage.
- Analyze requirements and test results to create, execute, and improve a range of test scenarios including smoke, regression, and UAT.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance.
- Support manual testing efforts when required and contribute to overall QA and Testing success across projects.
About you
- Extensive experience as am Automation Test Engineer in a corporate environment.
- Workday financial functional testing experience is essential.
- Experience working on Web/Mobile Automation Script development using Selenium/SpecFlow (C# preferred), other equivalent tools.
- Demonstrable understanding and experience of using Automation Frameworks to new projects/applications.
- Understanding of software test methodologies, and the application of the appropriate approach in different scenarios.
- Proven understanding of Test Automation requirements with a wide range of skills including SQL, Postman, and ADO.
