The Role
We are looking to hire a full-time bartender with manager potential, particularly if you bring relevant experience to the table. This is an evening role, and you must be available to work Fridays and Saturdays. You’ll be working across multiple locations in Auckland CBD, mainly The Glass Goose and La Zeppa, starting with approximately 20–25 hours per week, with potential to grow into a more senior position.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Greeting (and charming!) customers.
- Making, serving and selling cocktails, coffees, shots, bottled, mixed drinks and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Setting up the bar for busy periods and completing the opening / closing systems including cleaning and maintaining bar service areas.
- Promoting products and upselling.
- Washing glassware, arranging bottles and glasses as well as tapping kegs and attaching supply lines.
- Handling customer payments.
- Assisting the sales manager as required.
