Tasks Include:
- providing advice on hair care, beauty products and hairstyles
- shampooing hair and conditioning scalps
- must be experienced with cut throat razor for full wet shave, beard line up
- experienced with cutting hair with scissors, clippers and razors
- styling hair and experience with blow drying
- shaving and trimming beards and moustaches (cut throat use compulsory)
- cleaning work areas and sanitising instruments
- arranging appointments and collecting payments
- answering phone calls and taking bookings as necessary.
The right candidate must possess
- Minimum 3 years experience, high skill level with the right attitude.
- Proficient in fades, scissor cuts, beard work, and hot towel shaves
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Able to mentor juniors and set a standard
- A team player attitude with a professional, clean appearance
- NZ work rights (citizenship/residency or valid work visa)
This is a full time role with a minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed. $30 - $35 per hour for the right candidate. Will be required to move between stores based in Ponsonby and Remuera. Must be willing to work on weekends Saturday and Sunday. This is non - negotiable.
