We are currently seeking an experienced and strategic Business Services Manager (ANZSCO Code: 132111) to lead the coordination and expansion of business operations in Wellington. This is a leadership position that will play a critical role in driving organisational growth, client acquisition, and service excellence.
About the Role:
As a Business Services Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organising, directing, and coordinating the overall business administration functions that support Premium Clean’s service delivery and growth strategy. You will lead client acquisition efforts, support commercial development, and oversee onboarding processes while ensuring operational effectiveness and alignment with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to attract new commercial clients and franchise partners.
- Identify, target, and engage prospective clients, showcasing the Premium Clean value proposition.
- Lead client acquisition efforts through digital marketing, networking, cold-calling, referrals, and events.
- Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotes, and service contracts that align with client requirements.
- Conduct informative, results-focused presentations to convert leads into long-term clients.
- Negotiate contracts and terms that align with both organisational standards and client needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, finance) to ensure smooth client onboarding.
- Oversee onboarding and training processes, including system setup, client support, and admin induction.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, proposals, and business metrics for reporting.
- Manage the full client onboarding lifecycle and administrative follow-through to contract finalisation.
- Provide ongoing support to the CEO, General Manager, and COO with business operations and initiatives.
- Monitor performance against sales and business KPIs and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Promote operational compliance and ensure the business aligns with internal standards and NZ regulations.
About You:
- Proven experience in service-based industries, preferably in B2B environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently while aligning with broader company objectives.
