Te Puna o Whakaehu is a modern aquatic facility in Mosgiel, just 15-20 minutes from central Dunedin. With five pools (leisure, learners, lap, spa, and hydro) and up to 20,000 visitors each month, we're a busy community hub open 7 days a week, 362 days a year.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet and orientate patrons in a friendly and courteous manner
- Accurately process and record transactions and sales
- Provide relevant and accurate information on available products and services
- Work as an integral part of the Te Puna o Whakaehu reception team and wider Aquatic Services Team
- Promote and up-sell the sale of swimwear and swim-related products offered for sale in the swim shop
- Ensure personal and public safety while at work, according to the departments and the Council's health and safety policies, procedures, and systems
What You Need to Know
- Availability: Availability between 15 December 2025 and 30 January 2026 with flexibility to train between November and 15 December 2025.
- Holiday Period: Applicants with availability during and around Christmas/New Year will be prioritised.
- Location: This role is based at Te Puna o Whakaehu in Mosgiel.
