Casual Supermarket Assistants
We are seeking positive, engaging and driven individuals to join our customer-focused team. Our Casual Supermarket Assistants support our permanent team members to ensure our customers have access to our premium range in an appealing, engaging and organised setting.
About the role
This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same. You’ll have access to a wide range of departments and the differing tasks within them. You’ll have the ability to learn new skills, meet new people or simply work in different environments. With added flexibility, working ‘as and where needed’, you’ll be able to pick up work when you’re available.
Please note that being a Casual employee, there are no guaranteed minimum or regular patterns of work.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver on the excellent customer service and experience New World is renowned for.
- Merchandise the retail shop, ensuring our customers can get “what they want, when they want”.
- Produce a wide range of high-quality, premium products.

- Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
