Cellar Hand

Love Wine? Want experience in a cellar and lab role?

In this role you will be involved in the manufacture/production of Charmat, carbonated wine and other beverages. You will be performing cellar and production duties to help our night shift team complete their operations.

We’re flexible in timing but need cover for our night shift. Shifts are 12hrs, four days a week (Monday-Thursday) at our Hawke’s Bay plant.

This role requires great work ethic, with an excellent attitude and dependability. Cellar skills are required, heavy vehicle and fork hoist licenses are beneficial, but not required.

This is a fast-paced role and we're looking for someone to hit the ground running while learning on the job. We work with reliable people and that means on time, every time. This is an active job and you’re on your feet most of the time, so you’ll need to be reasonably physically fit.

You need to be:

• committed to excellence and quality with a great eye for detail, and a pride in getting it “right first time”
• reliable, punctual, have a degree of flexibility and the ability to work overtime if necessary
• able to complete quality checks and process paperwork accurately
• health and safety focused
• able to work in a team, to assist others, and be able to ask for assistance when needed
