Your role:
- Delivering outstanding customer service and building rapport with customers as the primary Checkout operator
- Scanning items accurately and packing groceries properly while still maintaining excellent customer service, think multi-tasking!
- Working in a team environment and giving effective communication
- Cleaning and collecting trolleys, stocking shelves making sure our checkout area looks amazing!
- Foodstuffs Liquor Policy strictly adhered to for 100% compliance
- Maintain a high standard of presentation in store
What we are looking for:
- Someone energised by delivering amazing customer service with the ability to communicate with all levels and loves being part of a close knit team
- An eye for detail and loves a challenge to achieve growth targets
- Ability to both work autonomously and help manage a team
- Ideal experience within a supermarket and/or large retail
- Experience in Lotto would be advantageous but not essential
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude, attention to detail and have a high level of integrity and productivity
- Takes pride in their work and maintains high compliance standards at all times
This role is not your normal supermarket checkout operator role! If you have some experience in retail would be advantageous but a can-do attitude and the ability to get stuck in and use initiative is the most important aspect as we can teach the rest. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering top class customer service, loves dealing with people, can think on their feet and loves being busy!

Hours:
Thursday to Saturday 12pm – 7:15pm
