Location: Auckland
Employment type: Full time (guaranteed 35 hours/per week, work roster Monday to Sunday), Permanent
Our pay: $25-$27 per hour depending on skills


We are a reputable restaurant based in Auckland.

To enhance our team, we are now looking for Chinese Dim Sum Cooks to join our team. We are expecting people who has passion for food, attention to details, ability to multi task and be a proactive member of the team.

Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years' relevant work experience in the same field or industry,
OR have a relevant level 4 qualification or above( equivalent overseas qualification or an overseas's occupational certificate can be accepted)

You are required to:


  • Measure and combine ingredients and raw materials using hands/hand tools and other equipment to make doughs for traditional Chinese Dim Sum – buns, rolls, and other pastry foods.
  • Make sweet, savory and special ingredient fillings, sources and toppings.
  • Check the quality of the ingredients and the prepared raw materials to make sure quality standard are met
  • Set, adjust and monitor oven, steamer and other cookware’s temperatures to ensure proper baking, steaming and cooking time
  • Take out the Chinese Dim Sum from the forms, trays, steam grids,unloading, de-panning and cooling the finished products
  • Decorate, glaze and adjust the display of the finished products
  • Test the finished products to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality requirements
  • Clean and restock workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.
  • Check the cleanliness of equipment and operation of machines before each run, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
