About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Cleaning Floor Care Coordinator to lead and support our project cleaning team at Middlemore Hospital. This key position ensures the delivery of high-quality cleaning services across departments while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily cleaning operations across project teams
- Provide supervision, coaching, and support to cleaning staff
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with hospital departments
- Promote excellence in service delivery aligned with the vision and values of Counties Manukau District
- Encourage a supportive and inclusive team culture
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week Monday to Sunday. Rotating 8-hour shifts across mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends. Flexibility is essential for this 24/7 role.
About You
We are seeking someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and has the leadership skills to inspire others. You will bring:
- NZQA Level 3 Certificate in Cleaning
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Hands-on experience in a cleaning role
- Strong planning, organisation, and staff motivation skills
