About the Role

As Clinical Administration Support, you will apply your attention to detail, skill for data management and accuracy in supporting our clinical staff in accessing vital patient clinical content which saves lives and improves our patient - s care journey.

This role involves covering administrative duties, supporting nurses, charge nurse managers and doctors, actioning patient admissions, discharges, recording community visits, patient & staff queries as well as other various ward responsibilities.

It is a permanent part time role, working 60 hours per fortnight (0.75 FTE) Monday 8.00AM to 3.00PM, Tuesday to Friday, 8.30AM to 3.30PM.

By providing essential administrative and secretarial assistance, we enable clinical teams to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. From coordinating schedules to managing documentation, we are the backbone of the hospital - s daily operations. About you

As Clinical Administration Support, you will:

  • have a bright, outgoing personality and will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering a consistently high level of customer service,
  • be a competent typist and possess a sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite,
  • be highly empathetic and respect the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality,
  • have demonstrated the ability to manage a busy workload.

Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage, but is not essential.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
