Mō te tūnga | About the role

We are seeking a driven and self-motivated Clinical Nurse Leader to lead and develop a team of Nurses. This is a full-time Monday to Friday role with an on-call rotation and the exciting opportunity to travel within the region.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical supervision and leadership to a team of community nurses
  • Ensuring high-quality service delivery aligned with contract specifications
  • Supporting professional development and fostering a strong team culture
  • Managing complex care needs, complaints, and exception reporting
  • Working collaboratively with teams across the region to improve workflows

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | What we're looking for

  • Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate
  • 5+ years of practical nursing experience (Community Nursing preferred)
  • Proven leadership experience, driving change and service improvements
  • A specialty clinical interest (preferred but not essential)
  • Full driver's licence
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Previous DN, surgical or wound experience beneficial
  • Experienced in long term conditions, aged residential care, or medical nursing highly desirable
  • Actively demonstrates the ability and desire to show cultural sensitivity, awareness and understanding of diversity
