About the Role
Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau is looking for a motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide specialist diabetes advice, education and case management for primary and secondary service clients with complex issues, either directly with the client or via another health provider.
This is a clinical leadership role to assist in enhancing health outcomes for people with diabetes and to provide educational leadership for diabetes care in Northland from August 2025 to the 13th of February 2026.
About the Team/Location
About you
- NZ Registered Nurse with a current Practicing Certificate
- Relevant Post graduate tertiary qualification or working towards
- Level 3 PDRP
- Postgraduate experience with recent experience in diabetes
- Current NZ drivers licence
Whilst not essential, applicants who have an expert level of diabetes knowledge and skills framework and/or experience in adult teaching or counselling will be highly desirable.
