We’re looking for a reliable, practical person to operate our CNC cutting machines (Kinetic Cutting machines and LVD Laser). You’ll also be trained to use plasma cutters, overhead cranes, and lifting gear. This is a stable, full-time night shift role – perfect if you’re detail-minded, like physical work, and enjoy working as part of a small team.
What you’ll do:
- Run and look after CNC cutting machines (plasma and laser)
- Load and unload steel plates using cranes, forklifts, and lifting gear
- Keep production running smoothly with minimal downtime
- Check parts for accuracy and quality, label and unload finished work
- Carry out basic machine maintenance
- Work safely, independently, and as part of the night shift crew
- Hours: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm – 12:30 am (10-hour shifts, 40-hour week)
Requirements
- CNC or machine operating experience (laser or plasma a bonus)
- Forklift licence (F endorsement is a plus)
- Full driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Physically fit and focused on working safely
- Able to work unsupervised and get the job done
