Casual weekend staff – Front of House
Columbus Café is a vibrant and busy café situated in the Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill store. We are seeking casual team members to join our fun, hardworking team! We will have shifts available this year during the weekends, summer school holidays and beyond.
We offer on-the-job training which makes us a great place to start your employment journey in hospitality. Front of House involves taking customer orders and payment handling, beverage making, attending to cabinet food orders, delivering ordered meals and drinks to customers, and keeping tables and service areas clean and tidy.
What we need from you:
- The ability to deliver exceptional customer service and dining experience.
- Flexibility with your availability to work (Saturdays or Sundays are essential)
- Can deliver service with a smile and effortlessly juggle several tasks at once.
- Have a positive, can-do attitude with no hesitation to roll up your sleeves when needed.
- Work calmly under pressure to meet the demands of this fast-paced environment.
- Barista experience would be an advantage.
