We have an opportunity for a qualified and experienced Critical Care Paramedic to join our Hamilton team, working alongside both paid and volunteer staff and provide a high level of care to our patients.
This is a full time position, working a relief roster in Hamilton. The roster is a mix of DDNN 12-hour shifts with start times ranging from 0630/1830, 0700/1900, & 0900 on a cascading roster.
The role requires you to be:
- adaptable and able to settle into our team with ease.
- have a positive demeanour.
- willing to contribute to station portfolios, and
- champion clinical excellence
Qualifications
Ko wai koe - About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current St John Authority to Practice at Critical Care Paramedic level (internship not provided)
- Current Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) from Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council
- Excellent operational and clinical performance to date
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
- A genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others
- The ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrated behaviours that align with Hato Hone St John's core values - Do the right thing (Mahi Tika), Side by Side (Tū Tahi), Straight Up (Mahi Pono), Make it better (Whakapai Ake), Open Minds (Whakaaro Nui)
