A bit about the role…
We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic candidate to join our Building Materials Distribution Centre team.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Processing, organizing and storing inventory in the Distribution Centre
- Packing and preparing orders for delivery
- Supporting the Dispatch Team as and when required
- Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy work environment
In addition, we are ideally seeking:
- Good physical fitness to unload, lift, carry and move items.
- Valid Full New Zealand Driver Licence, (F) Forklift endorsements
- Current OSCH Forklift Certificate, or willingness to obtain.
- Knowledge or interest to learn about all the products.
- Knowledge of relevant legislative governances e.g., Health & Safety at Work Act, and act in accordance with them.
- Understanding of health, safety, and wellness, along with relevant practices within retail and how to keep our team mentally and physically safe, along with our customers.
- IT competency.
